Project Overview

GS ARTS CENTER Renovation Project took place from December 2023 to April 2025, documenting the entire process from demolition and construction to the grand opening through video and photography.
The three films present the project from different perspectives: an introduction video showcasing the completed space, an interview with key project participants, and a renovation film capturing the process from demolition to construction. Photographs capture the transformation throughout the renovation, visually conveying the newly opened GS ART CENTER.

GS아트센터 리노베이션 프로젝트는 2023년 12월부터 2025년 4월까지 약 1년 4개월간 진행되었습니다. 철거부터 시공, 개관에 이르기까지의 전 과정을 영상과 사진으로 아카이빙하며, 공간의 물리적·문화적 변화를 시각적으로 기록하였습니다. 세 편의 필름은 각기 다른 시각으로 프로젝트를 조망합니다. 완공된 공간을 담은 소개 필름, 프로젝트 참여 대표 인원의 인터뷰 필름, 그리고 철거부터 개관까지의 여정을 기록한 리노베이션 필름으로 구성됩니다. 사진 기록 은 공사 과정과 완공 후의 공간 변화를 포착하며, 열린 문화 플랫폼으로 새롭게 탈바꿈한 GS아트센터를 시각적으로 전달합니다.
